Deeply ingrained in the golf industry since their youth,
Monument Golf was founded by entrepreneurs and golf enthusiasts Jeff Eggen and
Chad Gamblin in 2014. Based in Tempe, Arizona, the Monument Golf team has been
working to launch their first product – the Stick It Magnetic Rangefinder
Available on our website and at select golf courses and
retail outlets, the Stick It Strap is offered in an assortment of colors and
leather designs. We even starting offering the option to deboss a custom logo
on our premium leather. Check out some straps we’ve produced for some of the
biggest names in golf on our Custom Series page.
As we’ve grown over the years, we’ve been blessed to get
some great responses throughout the industry. See what they’re saying:
“We took the product out on the course today, and no matter
what we did, the Stick It stayed in place. One of the best features is that the
Stick It has a low profile design that allows your rangefinder to still fit
into the manufacturer’s case. We strongly recommend any golfer using a rangefinder
to check it out.”
“I can't imagine
owning a rangefinder without the Stick It as an accessory. [Golf shops and
stores] would be crazy not to carry it. It’s a no-brainier.”

If you’re interested in carrying the Stick It Strap as part of your
merchandise, give us a call or shoot us an email. We’re always excited to get the
Stick It Strap in new hands!
Monument Golf started out with nightly research and product development
sessions in the workshop back in 2014. 2015 saw our first sales of our magnetic neoprene sleeve for rangefinders. The golf community liked the product immediately and we knew we were onto something big. After countless iterations and design modifications, 2016 saw the introduction and roll out of the 'Stick It' - magnetic rangefinder strap at the 2016 PGA Merchandise Show.
Designed to give golfers easy access to their rangefinder, 'Stick It' snaps to the metal frame of the golf cart, or the head of your club. No more digging for your rangefinder in your bag, lost in the basket, or taking up space in a drink holder. 'Stick It' quickly became the serious golfers' solution.
As product demand increased, we set out to continually
improve the quality and durability in our subsequent production runs. With a modification
in the material used, we’re excited to share that the newest Stick It Strap –
featuring an adjustable nylon strap – is performing better than ever. The
industrial strength magnets withstand severe bumps, sharp turns and sudden
stops. And the best part is, your rangefinder
is still only an arm’s reach away with the Stick It Strap.
But we’re not stopping here. We’re currently back in the
workshop sketching, designing and constructing more Stick It products, looking
to add a little speed and ease to your game.

How We Got
The name Monument Golf is a tribute to our parents. Unfortunately, Jeff lost his father when he
was 12 years old, and Chad lost his mother in July of 2014. Although the time
we had with them was a difference of over 20 years, there was a similarity in
their qualities. Both parents were strong, sturdy and dependable – a rock in
our lives that we wanted to memorialize. And as we found ourselves striving to
make our products with the same qualities, we knew this venture was our
monument for them.
To Dennis Eggen and Mary Gamblin, “We will love you always
and remember what you instilled in us forever!”
Building off the qualities we wanted our company to live up
to – strong, sturdy and dependable – we wanted our logo to visually represent
this promise. Chad remembered his grandmother’s attachment to elephants – an
animal she said symbolized strength, divine knowledge and family. And after
sharing the visual of an elephant, in conjunction with our company promise, the
industry agreed with grandma.
The elephant design was hand-drawn by Jeff, and the
symbolism will help keep us grounded as we continue to grow and develop more
products down the line.
As we started down this business venture, we quickly realized
how in every aspect of golf – whether it’s playing or building a product – the only way to succeed is to carry the right
attitude. So we share a thought that
helps level-set us every day.
“A pessimist sees the difficulty
in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.”
